Bethel Bible Course: From time to time the Bethel Bible Study is offered at Amazing Grace. The study, which was developed by a Lutheran minister, is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the Biblical message. Over a period of forty weeks, it presents both the Old and the New Testament narratives in a way that enables you to see the interrelationship of events and ideas within the Scriptures. This journey through God's word has the power to change lives by helping you discover how God has blessed you and how you can be a blessing to others. The study will be taught by Ginny Gerboth, a certified Bethel teacher, who in 1984, spent three weeks in Madison, Wisconsin learning to present the material from its author, Harley Swiggum. Since then, Ginny has presented the study eight times in three different churches and, during one memorable two-year period, at a woman's maximum-security prison. The cost of the materials for the Old Testament section is $36. Couples may share materials. Checks should be made payable to the church. For more information, call Ginny at 646-9719.
